Off The Cuff: At dinner tonight, I took off my shoes – we’ve been traveling – so good to back home at the beach…
Road and Driver: The I-77 N/S run through West Virginia is a great highway to drive if you enjoy the changes in elevation and a relatively curvy road – real flatlanders might find it “unwelcoming.” Driving a really nice grand touring vehicle, and enjoying the terrain, it was a great part of the drive today from the Greenbrier there in West Virginia, back to Neptune Beach.
That first 100 mile part of the 600 mile run today was really the best, however, the VA/NC and first part of SC sections were pretty good traffic and speeds without too many falling prey to the blue lights – most states are doing Interstate repair (Trump stuff), so there were a number of construction sites to manage through at the lower speeds. Unfortunately the last 40 miles of South Caroline were crawling, so that added another hour and a half to total eleven hour drive today.
Carpets at The Greenbrier: The following is a sample of the carpets there, and might give you a good understanding that there is an historical nature to The Greenbrier – enjoy.

The United States of America’s constitution does not set up a socialist republic, it just doesn’t. However, if you want to create your own socialist republic (commune) within the country, you can. Cool huh.
Yesterday’s quote: Nancy Pelosi – let me repeat her quote – “If I had my way, sporting guns would be strictly regulated, the rest would be confiscated.“
Todays Who Said: “The money that goes into Social Security is not the government’s money. it’s your money. You paid for it.”
Setting the Record Straight: certain times over the past 136 days I’ve had commitments that keep me from devoting the amount of time I’d like to, to this paper. Each day, I try to give you a few bits of “prose” and a photo or two, with good daily info from the various by-lines that change not too often. Thank you for taking the time as readers to enjoy…
